You get what you need.

Sometimes life sucks, and we don't know why. It just does. Things happen that nobody wants to happen. People die. Friends leave. Promises are broken. There is no way to stop these things; they're just a part of life. However, we don't have to let these things overtake our lives. We have a choice. We can't avoid the pain that life brings, but we can move on. Instead of constantly reliving the same events and just digging into an open wound, we have to let go and let it heal. We don't go through things by accident. Nothing happens by accident. God has a plan for each and every soul on Earth, and only He knows the full concept of those plans. When everything starts to fall apart, don't lose hope. Have faith and know that God has a plan so much bigger than you or me. We were not put on this earth by accident. We were given certain abilities, personalities for a reason. This whole world is not a work of science but a work of God. Each person hand crafted and given a specific purpose. This crap you're going through, you're going through it for a reason. For what reason, I don't know. Maybe it's to make you realize the huge amount of blessings in your life. Maybe it's to mold you into the person you're supposed to be. Maybe you're life changed because you weren't living the life that God has planned for you. One thing is certain: no matter what battle you're facing, God is right beside you fighting with you.

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
Romans 8:28

Don't be discouraged by the events in your life. They are helping to shape you into the person God meant for you to be. You are never alone in this world; God is always there. Remember that there is always hope, even when all hope seems lost. Something great is just around the corner. I'll leave you with two quotes from Herbert Cooper, the pastor at People's Church, and one of my favorite movie quotes of all time.

"Pain is inevitable. Misery is optional."

"Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying 'I will try again tomorrow.'"

"The night is darkest just before the dawn. and I promise you, the dawn is coming."
Harvey Dent- The Dark Knight
